Berton started CrossFit around two years ago. He dropped-in for classes for a couple months in 2013 until Murph on Memorial Day. He says, “any group of people that could find that workout fun have to be worth getting to know!”
Determining his favorite part about coaching is hard for Berton. The longer he is able to coach, the reason he enjoys it changes. He says that, “originally, I enjoyed the fact that coaching got me out of my comfort zone. It forced you to communicate and get to know people I may have otherwise never meet. As I’ve learned what it means to actually coach it’s more about seeing someone accomplish something they never imagined possible!”
