Policies
I understand that any recreational activities and exercise programs that I undertake at Brickhouse Athletics, LLC may expose me to the risk of personal injury. I agree that it is solely my responsibility and not the responsibility of Brickhouse to require me to consult with a physician prior to commencing any such programs, to remain under medical supervision if that is indicated, and to seek medical assistance in the event of an injury. I recognize that the use of the exercise equipment and other facilities provided by Brickhouse entail some risk of an injury to myself and to others and I agree that I will use such equipment and facilities with due care. I hereby release Brickhouse Athletics, LLC (“Brickhouse CrossFit”) and Brickhouse’s officers directors, employees, agents, licensees, consultants, independent contractors and affiliates, from any liability from property damage, personal injuries or other claims arising from or in connection with my participation in any exercise program, the use of Brickhouse’s Facility and all other Brickhouse training locations.
I understand that Brickhouse may from time to time photograph, video record, or otherwise document workouts and activities in which I participate at the Brickhouse facilities and assigned workout locations for use on websites and social media (e.g. the Brickhouse CrossFit blog), as well as for internal and business use (e.g. company newsletters, presentations to prospective business partners). I hereby grant Brickhouse and its licensees and assigns an irrevocable right, title, and license to use, simulate, and impersonate my name, likeness, voice, appearance, performance, and/or biographical information, in connection with the uses described above. Such rights are worldwide, without limitation in number of occurrences or type of media, whether now existing or hereafter created, for a period of without limitation.
Upgrade Policy
Members may upgrade to a higher access contract at any time. Submit a new contract form at the front desk. Changes will be effective upon next payment date. Contract months cannot be changed until the contract has come to it’s term.
Freeze Policy
Members may freeze their contract for up to one month, once per year. Freeze requests for more than one month in length will be subject to a $50 fee charged to the member card on file upon request. There is a three month freeze limit. The current membership will be extended for given number of months. There is no prorating of days or weeks. Freeze will start on the date of monthly payment due date. Submit a Contract Freeze Request form to your coach or mail to: 310 Salem Ave. Roanoke, VA 24016. Forms available at front desk.
Late Payment / Declined Credit Card Fees
A late payment/declined credit card fee of $15 will be automatically charged to the member credit card on file on any payment past due more than five calendar days. Any account over 45 days past due will be transferred to our Collections Agency. Member’s that go to collections are void from future membership.
Cancellation of Membership
We follow the cancellation guidelines set by the Virginia Consumer Affairs office.
A member may cancel membership at any time upon payment of a cancellation fee equal to two-months of membership fees. Cancellation fee will be charged to the member credit card on file when written request is received of cancellation. Current months are not prorated. Mail a Contract Cancellation Form to 310 Salem Ave. Roanoke, VA 24016. Forms available at front desk.
A member may cancel membership without paying the cancellation fee if they suffer a physical disability, which will prevent them from using the facility for more than three months. To cancel a membership due to disability, a hard copy Doctor’s letter is required by state law. Members can send the letter to Brickhouse CrossFit, 310 Salem Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24016. Cancellation will be processed within 15 days of receipt.
One month memberships, workshops and clinics are non refundable.
Auto-Renewal
Contracts will automatically be rolled into month to month membership at the end of it’s term. Any future rate changes will not affect your original rate and it will always remains the same for the length of your membership unless a) the membership status is changed to “suspended” due to late payment, b) termination of the existing contract.
